Refund Policy
1. Overview
We want you to be completely happy with your Taprio experience. This policy explains when refunds and replacements apply. For any refund request, contact us first on WhatsApp +91 90411 33538 or email hello@taprio.in.
2. Free Plan
The free plan costs ₹0 — there is nothing to refund. You can delete your account anytime.
3. NFC Card Plans (Silver, Gold, Platinum)
NFC cards (Silver ₹1,499, Gold ₹2,999, Platinum ₹3,999) are custom-printed physical products made specifically for your profile. Because they are personalised and printed on order, we have a strict refund policy:
Not eligible for refund:
- Change of mind after order is placed
- Card already printed and/or shipped
- Profile details entered incorrectly by you
- NFC not working due to phone incompatibility (please check: works on Android and iPhone 7+)
- Delivery delays caused by the courier or incorrect address
- Accidental card damage after delivery
Eligible for free replacement:
- Manufacturing defect — card chip does not work on compatible phones
- Wrong card shipped — different plan/material than ordered
- Printing error on our side — name or details printed incorrectly (not input error)
- Card damaged in transit — report within 48 hours of delivery with photo proof
For replacement claims, WhatsApp us a photo of the defective card within 7 days of delivery.
4. Cancellations
- Before printing: Full refund possible — contact us within 2 hours of order placement
- After printing starts: No refund as the card is already being made
- After shipping: No refund
To cancel an unprinted order, WhatsApp us immediately at +91 90411 33538. We process orders quickly so act fast.
5. Refund Process
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method via Razorpay within 5–7 working days. Razorpay may take additional time to credit your account depending on your bank.
6. Plan Upgrade Refunds
If you upgrade from one paid plan to another (e.g. Silver to Gold), the Silver plan cost is not refundable. You pay the full Gold price. There are no partial credits for upgrading.
7. How to Raise a Claim
To raise a refund or replacement request:

- We respond within 24 hours on working days
8. Consumer Rights
This policy does not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India). If you have a genuine complaint that we have not resolved, you may contact the National Consumer Helpline at 1800-11-4000.
